I picked to do my research paper over iPhones because of how they changed the world. The iPhone has made everyother phone company have to improve their products to try to compete with it. It offers a whole new perspective to how people think of smart phones, because its practically a laptop in your hands! it has the worlds best screen and the most apps for any phone. I would like to find out how other phones match up against it and how it works.
The iPhone has changed the world by being the best phone and pushing other phones to be better. It has caused other companies to make better phones to compete with it like the EVO or the EPIC. This on going battle to create the best, fastest, coolest phone is driving each company to create better merchandise.
The iPhone has some cool features on it like a camera on both sides of it, facetime, and its also an iPod! It was the first phone with facetime but other phones have it now also. However iv seen the other phones facetime and the Iphone's quality is much better but it can only be used when your phone has wifi while other phones can use it anywhere.
One way the iPhone is different from other touch phones is it doesnt have a "touch screen" it has a heat sensitive screen. So that it only moves with your fingers touch. This has some advantages and some disadvantages. The advangeges are its more accurate to your touch so you dont press the wrong buttons and you cant pocket call someone. But some disadvanteges are you cant use a stylest on it and if your hands are really cold pressing the buttons is harder to do.
A few issues I have with the iPhone 4 is the way that the phone was designed made it so that it has very bad reception. This is because the antenna is more exposed so when you put the phone to your face you interfere with the signals. Apples solution to this was to give people a free case when you purchase the 4 so that your face wont interfere with the signals as much. Another problem is AT&T just changed there phone plans so you can no longer have unlimited internet. This has nothing to do with the phone but it restricts what you can do with the phone a lot because the whole point of the iPhone is that its a computer in your hand, but now you can barley use the internet with out getting charged extra.
